This is just my opinion......
Buy some black GTA rims and some new rubber.
You'll be stoked at how good it will look.
Save the rest of the $$$ and slowly acquire parts for a new, bigger, engine. ( It WON'T effect your insurance, because the insurance companies use the VIN # and it's engine code to identify the engine......and your VIN number will always reflect the car as being a V6 )

Don't tell the insurance you changed the engine. Ta da new engine without the high insurance.
prolly under a grand or so i still got to save some of the money, the parents dont want me dropping anything into the car that will "get me into trouble"
my dad is a real car guy and has a 69 cougar with a 440 so i dont think he cares but once i turn 18 hes said he'll drop in the 390

Group a wheels has nice rims that fit our cars for resonable prices - I mean the ROH wheels. Simmons wheels are too pricey for me, but they look incredible.

Keep the original rims, they look fine.
Inevitably you'll need the money for maintenance and other small mods.
I personally enjoy seeing a clean, original bird like yours.

and they didnt have them. i got another post about this but just some more questions. do they have the same bolt pattern and would i need spacers?? does anybody know of a similar rim out there that might fit a little easier thanks

i hope you guys realize that those eagle 77's require spacers and such..they are a front wheel drive offset..

I'm 15, and all stories I hear sound like you do nothing with insurance companys but give them money, and they do nothing but refuse to pay you.
