how much backspacing

how much backspacing do u need to fit a 10.5 inch tire in a 92 camaro wheel well. i want it to fit clean in the fenders i dont want it to stick out. will i have to do any cutting. also what backspacing for a 10 inch tire with out it stickin out past the wheel well. thanks for the help
