to all you aluminum polishers out there!

i was watching tv and seen an ad for a product called zoop. it is suppose to seal the aluminum and keep it from oxidation. you clean it with water like chrome. it said it was ideal for use on polished aluminum wheels and engine compnents. it said it runs about $100 a kit with enough to do several components. it said that it lasted about a year then needed to be reaplied.

what my ? here is, does any use this product? if anyone has, what are the results?
i would like to polish this
thanks
anthony

You're gonna polish the whole intake? I was gonna do that to mine, but thought it would look better in mirror black powdercoat.

yea i want to do the all the intake. i may paint it the custom color i piant my car at a later date, but if i do paint it, having the surface smooth would reasult in a mirror like black, like the rest of my will be. but for starters, yea i want a nice mirror finish on it. i think all the time and effort will be worth it.

thanks
anthony

Zoop

Trucks TV used it today on their show. Looks to be an answer to the polished rims.

I have never heard of it before. How are you gonna polish the LT1 intake? By hand?

i mean once you get a mirror shine with the aluminum if it dulls just apply more polish too it??? You already would have done all that sanding to get it smooth so why spend all that money for the kit, disagree if you want but im a college student and dont have all the money in the world. Would rather have 100 dollars in mods i think.

$100 a year for keeping your wheels clean is insane!

For a year or three without worrying about getting down on yer hands and knees to poilsh a set of rims.. I think it is worth it.
