can you polisha set of polished aluminum rims then spray them with clearcoat to make them stay shiny.......thanks jason

 

Sure can, I'd even recommend it to protect all of your hard work.

 

how long will it stay like that?

 

Clear coat turns yellow, scratches and looks like ***. Just clean them once a week with soap and water.

 

Clear will also take away slightly from that hard-earned luster.

A little carnuba wax will go a long way towards protecting your finish.

 

when I stripped the paint off of a pair of 84 Z28 wheels I had a body shop guy I know spray some clear coat on them with one of the proffestional paint guns, and car clear coat, that stuff aint coming off and I dont think it will be turning yellow.
