hey man do yourself a favor and ditch the never dull, go pick up some mothers aluminum polish, this stuff works wonders. when your polishing your wheels its just like waxing, you want to go in cirlcular motions, put 1 coat on the wheel, let it sit for about a minute till it starts to haze, and then rub off again in a circular motion, then buff the hell out of them with a nice 100% cotton polishing cloth, you could even do another coat, but ive never done it so i dont know if it would make it much better, anyways good luck man

Blue Magic IS way better than mothers. i have both and i think that the reason blue magic is better is that its more of a jelly then a paste and it gets dark alot faster and gets stuff really shinny alot faster. so do your self a favor and get some blue magic. as for tips, ummm use lots of the polish and rub for a long time and do multiple coats for extra shine.

Never used the Black Magic stuff, Mothers worked pretty good for me. Heck its only about $3.50 for a little can, do a wheel with one brand then try the other, I'd kinda like to see the differences between the two.

Thats a custom color, Faded Dirty Black. I did the polishing months ago, but never got around to painting them back to a glossy black.

I can vouch for Blue Magic as well, it works great. I don't think it it too expensive.

When you polish, is there anyway to mask and polish around the stripes and insides so that you don't touch them in the process and keep the color stock??

I'm sure there is, but why bother? Unless you are reall shaky in the hands, I wouldnt worry about it. I used a couple of power tools, and an air tool, and never scratched the paint.

I dont even know what to suggest for masking purposes. Maybe someone else does.

Don't you have to spray something on them to get the clear coat off??

Yeah you can use that aircraft stripper, which requires some masking, again I couldnt reccomend anything, because that stuff will eat a hole in rubber. 80 grit sand paper works about the same on a suitable tool, in fact, maybe a little faster. Or a coarse wire brush on a battery opperated drill, thats what I did.

Blue magic is what I use also. Three times better than never dull, and cheaper too. It seems to protect bare aluminum better also.
