How often do you think about your thirdgen?

Well, I think about my thirdgen everyday. I daydream all day of what changes I can make and what I want it to look like. So how often do you think about yours?

Every day, and some times when I fall asleep, especially now since it's not running and waiting for it after all the new mods.

Not a single minute goes by that I dont think about my Camaro, and not a single hour goes by that I dont think about my GTA. I cant sleep at night either, thought I was the only one! I write a 3 page list of what I want to do to my car about once a week, but then realize I barely have $1000 in my bank account. I thought about selling a kidney or something. My GTA will be getting a new paint job this spring though

My Camaro is constant, it will always be there at the end of the day. I.O.W. I love my car. I did a persuassive speech last year in my english class on why the shouldn't discontinue the Camaro and Firebird. Just last week, wrote a sonnet about my Camaro. It's my passion.

I have quite a few sleepless nights. Last night I could not go to sleep because I could not find the perfect wing for my car that no one else had. Plus I was thinking about how to put a third brake light on the inside of my hatch.

I actually had to get out of bed at 3:00 a.m. to draw out some ideas for the appearence. Then I started thinking about my color choice for my engine to make it look better, then I thought about the interior, then I thought about the taillights, then I thought about what I want to do with the rear bumper, a 91-92 Formula Bumper, or just fill in my bumper with fiberglass. Then I thought about 2nd gen scoops for my Bird.

Then I started thinking about supercharging my 2.8l. One thing just leads to another. I have so much that I want to work on and change.

Its too cold to do anything, but drive my car.

I just want to finish my car so that I can finally enjoy, but I have a long way to go.

I think about my 3rd gen 22.5 out of 24 hrs a day! I am always thinking plans in my head for mine, wondering what other people in my town are trying to do to theirs., or why they don't WASH THEM after the snow salt!!!! I've been doing third-gen odd-jobs around my town lately to earn some extra cash, and have been loving it, they're always on my mind.

I can actually remember when I started thinking about it all the time. I remember before I purchased it, I would have dreams and in my dreams I was always driving either a skyline GTR34 or a Hummer. Well, ever since I got my IROC, i've never dreamed about anything else. I even dream that I fixed some of the problems it has (in my sleep). In my dreams though, the doors are scissored, and every mod I ever wanted is on it. I even have dreams where I am a big hip hop star, and while everyone is rolling in their escalades, I am still sporting a flawless IROC. (I would do it too!) Damn I love my car.

I just want to say that I am not obsessed with my car in the way you some of you guys might be. I am obsessed with finishing this car!!!!!!!!! I look in magazines and just see so many finished cars. I have such a long way to go before my car looks and performs the way I want it to. I want to spend more time driving my car across the state and country so I can truelly enjoy my ride.

Everyday, every hour. They are even (GASP!!) named. I almost had an emotional break down when my tranny went in my 84 bird. It is very sad I know. I knew I wouldn't be driving him for along time after that. I haven't for 5 years. It got me thruogh some rough time that car did. I also get crap all the time because I don't ever want to sell them. Three Birds mayebe more??? Lifes good.

lol, you think thats bad, wait until youre right in the middle of it and you say "jenna" (my iroc's name) instead of her name. lol, dont ask why, long story. end result, i went to bed alone for a few nights. lol

i think about my z everyday and if i dont spend at least 1hr a day fixing her in some way then i feel guilty. oh well, i guess we all love our cars......

I think about all the stuff I want to do to my car. I bothers me sometimes when I think about how far I have to go to get it closer to where I want it to be. But then I think about where it was when I got it.

Needless to say I think of it alot. When it was in the shop and not where I could easily go and see it, I didn't sleep.

Mine is a Trans-AM not a Camaro. I just thought I would point that out since most of the people replying to this post are Camaro owners.

Sometimes when I am playing video games or doing some homework. I sometimes find myself looking out the window to see how my car is doing, even though I just did that 10 minutes ago. I can't really look at my car here at College since my room doesn't face the parking lot anymore.

Do you ever slow down in front of a store so you can see your reflection in the window pane to just so you can see how you look as you drive by.

When you park your cars, do you keep turning around and looking in admiration as you walk away? I do.

Wow, this thread has REALLY left me feeling 'not alone' HAHA

I knew everyone on this board loved thirdgen's, but didnt think they liked their cars as much as me!

I think so much about it that I don't sleep at night. that's pretty bad
Ya, have that problem too.

i bet i'm not the only one who does this but when i go out to eat, i park my car next to a window and then sit so i can keep an eye on it!@
All the time. Actually, my fiance makes fun of me everytime for it too.

Do you ever slow down in front of a store so you can see your reflection in the window pane to just so you can see how you look as you drive by
HEHE umm....yyyaaaa. Then I think, "damn my car makes me look good!"

When you park your cars, do you keep turning around and looking in admiration as you walk away
Ya actually I do it everytime I park my car. I'm starting to get all self-concious about it, cause I think maybe people start picking up on it and thinking I'm a freak.

what i cant get is how you guys could possibly put your cars away for the winter!! I couldnt put my car away if it was in good running condition, and a volcano was going off
It's tough man, but then I just think of how much better off it is parked away in the garage. I've already gotten in one accident with my beater, so as far as I'm concerned, the beater has served it's purpose. I thank *** every day that it wasnt my bird.

When I'm home on the weekends, I'll make special trips out to the garage just to check on her, make sure everything is OK.......actually, the truth is I just cant bear to not see her at least once a day!

I read a study once somewhere. It stated that men think about sex at least once every 10 minutes. Considering that factoid, and the fact that I think about my GTA far more than I think about sex. Scary......

I think about the car way more than sex and I don't even have the car! Im supossed to be picking up a 92 firebird friday ( yea yea I wanted it to be a trans am) but it does have t tops and a 5 speed ( its an l03 but that can be changed) its going to need paint badly and a new windshield and then after that its going to get a 350 swaped in with a T ram if I can find one. I get told all the time by my friends that im obsessed with cars lol. I day dream about the car I just can't stop thinking about it, I think about it 24/7 literalty! When i was in school I used to have pictures of 3rd gen trans am's seperating the diffrent sections of my school work and I had a viper in there ( my fav car, viper rt/10 92-95). Im thinking about the firebird right now lol and before I was even on the computer just all the freakin time. I have insomnia so I just lay awake all night day dreaming about what to do with the car and what I want to do and just everything, its crazy. Well time to look up more stuff to do to the car!
