Lowering springs?
I wanted to know where i can get just 2 front lowering springs. I was thinking of just cutting a loop out of the oem springs but have been told that is bad to do?? I am happy with how the back sits and just want to lower the the front. Any ideas or places would be greatly app. I have seen Eibach,Intrax, and progressive but they all are a set of 4.

Cutting coils is not good, esp for handeling. Since the front end is quite similer to a s10, you might beable get some coils from a 4.3l s10 and give them a try.
However, no matter what you do in the suspension will effect the way it handles.
Truly the best thing though would be get the set of 4 and only put in the two.

An one thing to note... With the Eibach pro kit...my rear did not lower much at all from the stock springs ride height. That was because after 15 years the stock springs have sagged. They are worn out. The Pro Kit is supposed to lower the car 1.5 inches. It maybe lowered mine .5. Again because the old ones were so worn out. If I were you, I would replace them all.
My ride so greatly improved...it was amazing. The Eibachs are progressive, so the keep you from banging around like our stock springs. They have large coils that help contain your range of movement without jarring you. I remember how horrible the railroad crossings were before them...bang,bang, bang...the springs were fully compressing and then springing back to full height and banging me all around, and they were weak with age, so they compressed much easier then they should.
With the eibachs, it is a floaty effect. They have a more controlled compression and release. With them, the larger sway bars, urathane bushings, and subframe conectors...the car is amazing now!
