whos got dash mounted tach's lets see pics

the title says it all. i have a new tach i bought and was thinking about mounting it on my dash. does anyone else have this done? lets see pics

I'm gonna mount a tach once I get my 5-spd in..

My friend has a tach mounted above his A/C controls and it looks good there, it's more hidden... see, 1 problem about dash mounting is anyone can see it, and it makes ur car a target when parked outside..

But if your car is secure (ie alarm, cover, etc..) I'd dash mount it

To me it looks TOTALLY out of place if mounted in the middle of the dash....Here you have a nice boxy dash and what is there on top of it, A big circle......

I would suggest mounting in the left corner near the driver side A-pillar OR underneath the A/C vents in the middle as mentioned above my post.....

I plan to get one that mounts in dash and fabbing a custom gauge cluster so my interior doesn't look too cluttered.

here's where I mounted the tach in my '85. I think it gives it a kinda of a all business look. I have a blue shift light and cover now it looks a lot better than the yellow.
