Photoshop??
So is photo shop the only way to make a sig like the ones ive seen around here??

you can also use paint shop pro. i've been using it for about 6 years, and its evolved to be more and more like photoshop.
it shares the layers feature, and it has many preset effect filters built in. also, it is much less system intensive. i find it to actually be easier in photoshop in many instances, so i use both.
