Vette wheels???

Just wondering if anyone has, or has a pic of a third gen with these wheels? If so, post a link or something. Cuz these are pretty much what I'm planning on so far.

what size 18 do you have....aren't those 9.5's?

do you have a good rear pic or angle of the rear to show how they sit?

i'm having a hell of a time getting the 10.5's to look right.

do you have a digital camera?

can you please get a rear angle that is off slightly so you can see exactly how the stance is of those rims and tires?

you need to get a cardomain site so that you can post all these pictures and not have to post so much.

any word on how the swap is coming?

see i need more of an angle though so you can see the relation of the tire to the fender....pics like those are nice, but deceiving.

Take a pic like this,

Those are 17x9 WS6 wheels with a 2.25" spacer on all 4 corners with 275/40/17 on all for corners as well.

91Z28 how big of a spacer do you have up front??? I already got a 4thgen rear so the rear wheels will be fine. But im not sure what to do about the fronts? is that like a 2" spacer?

So, 1991 Z-28 what was required to make those rims work? Have you had any problems with the rims? I really want the 2k Vette rims and I wanted to know what would be needed to make them work.

you need 2" spacers in the back and 1.75" spacers in the front
hey 91dubZ28, im getting a 4th gen rear soon as i get my car back and before i put the rims back on, so ill be selling a pair of 1.75" spacers if your interested...

i have 1.75 ALL THE WAY AROUND, but you NEED 2" in the back, when taking hard turns i can hear my back tires rubbing LOUD because 1.75 is just not quite enough, u need 2" , but since im getting the 4th gen rear, i will continue to use the 1.75" up front, and wont need the other pair for the back, hence 1.75" spacers for sale! barely used

before anyone jumps understand that those sizes depend greatly on the offset and backspacing......make sure you know the exact measurements of your particular rim before you try something and it doesn't work. those sizes won't work for all 2000 vette rims.

1991.....how much of a gap do you have between the rear tires and the actual inner wheel well? i have a little over 1/2" do you think it will still rub under hard turns?

with the 1.75 in my rear, the tire is almost touchign the rear well... i think i have 1/2 inch maybe less... my guess is it will rub on yours im not sure, what size spacer are u using? i mean mine rubs BAD

2", but that doesn't matter.........there is almost a full inch if not more since it's basically the width of my thumb. the 35 series profile really made a difference on wether i would have problems or not. absolutely no way i could have fit 18's and a larger profile. it's definately close that's for sure.
