SS Hood Pics

I was just wanting to see some pics of SS hoods on some cars and also wondering how do they fit, ive seen some cowls that look horrible because they aren't sized right, thanks for any input

absolutely beautiful.....that yellow one is great. it would be better with heritage stripes but that's just opinion.

that back with red and brads is unbelievable. very nice cars everyone.

The SS hood is the whole reason I want to get a camaro. I love birds, but with that hood HOLY CRAP it is gorgeous!!!!! The black with red striped, j I think, oh man, I need some tissue.

Well.....since it's not metal....your unable to ground the light. I don't have my light hooked up right now. You could maybe run a wire to your firewall or frame somewhere.....and run a toggle switch so you cold turn the light on and off. I think I'm just going to leave my light unhooked though. Weather stripping.....I don't think you need any.....I've never had any problems with mine......anyone else????

anyone know where i could get an ss hood like those in canada? so i dont have to pay more for stupid shipping and all the "crossing the border" ****. Also, take a look at my car, i want to paint it white, with blue racing stripes (not sure of the design yet) and get either a cowl induction hood, or now, an ss hood?

got mine from ascd and it was like around $900 when everything was said and done..(im in ontario canada)..

its not on properly and the front clip needs to be realigned again.. but you get the jist of it!!

yeah man,

thats how she came...i think there is an optional grill you can order for a small extra charge but im not sure..

i think it looks good the way it came...it almost looks like it can be functional..

That should have came with a grill....mine did....under the grill it has the holes cut out like that too.....but..mine came with a grill.

Yes, it's functionally....there is just no air box.....I noticed about a 10-15 degree drop in under hood temps....
