I found out today that 3 of my 4 polished IROC wheels are bent, so it's time to find some new wheels. I'll be sticking with 16x8s for now since I dont want to buy new tires. I'm looking for some wheels that I can get for pretty cheap.

So far I'm thinking:
single stripe IROCs, polished
2 stripe IROCs, polished (think I like singles better though)
91-92 Z28s, polished
black GTA crosslace, outer rim polished

I thought about some plain 4th gen 5 spokes too, not salad shooters but those other ones. Those can be had for pretty cheap but spacers cost a fortune.

 

I'd much rather have the polished IROCs and then maybe the 4th gen rims, plus that will give you the escuse to get a 4th gen rear to put on your car rather than getting rear wheel spacers How did your rims get bent?

 

GTA wheels are awesome on Camaros. Polished Irocs are just as good too.

 

Right now I think I'm leaning toward black or metallic silver GTA wheels. Can I use Camaro centercaps on these?

I bought my IROC wheels from a guy in Jacksonville, Florida. His email address was james86ta@something.com, cant remember exactly. He sold me the wheels bent apparently, and the have just become more un-true ever since. Dont do business with this guy!

I remember this guy's name now too, James Betts. He drives a Mystic Teal 4th gen Camaro with an SS hood, 10 spoke SS wheels, and the car runs 11's in nitrous. Stay away from this guy, he's a bad seller

GTA wheels look great.

 

I say GTA rims or one stripe IROCs. Maybe get some 17's for the back?? Keep stock 16's on the front?? Would look good IMO.

I think I'm going to get the GTA wheels. I've already had the one stripe IROCs. Why not use this opportunity to try a different wheel. I'll probably paint the centers a metallic grey like on the old Rally Wheels.
