What solvent will remove things from rims without harming the finish?
I just got a set of rims the other day and the packign material used were those gray bags the expanding foam in them. There's a spot on one of the rims where it looks like some of that foam shot out of the bag and got stuck to the rim. I've tried water and WD40 and it won't come off. Can I use Simple Green or Goo Gone or something like that without harmign the clearcoat? It looks kinda like s$$t. It's just a small area, but it has the same appearance as when clearcoat peels off the rim, but I'm pretty sure its just some of that foam crap (hope so anyways). Any ideas would be really helpful.
Thanks,
Eric
