Ideas on how to paint my ZR1 center caps (pic within)

I think I'm pretty much set on getting 4 silver blanks and getting 4 black bird decals from the bats cave or whatever the name of that site is (I don't have a link to it handy, but they are just four firebird decals that fit onto the center cap).

I was thinking about a black cap with silver bird , but the black might make it look like the cap is missing

or a silver cap with a blue bird but then I dont' think the blue would stand out any.

I would go with the silver caps with the blue bird. Of course you're not going to be able to see them while you're driving, but the subtleness of the mod would be noticed at say maybe a car show.
