plans for my 92 - tell me what you think

i'm plannin on upgrading my 92 RS's appearance soon, and was excited about how it was gonna look so i decided to share and see what yall though. i'm getting this hood from American Sports Car Design (bottom of post) my car's red w/ black stripes now, but i'll be gettin orange w/ black stripes. nothing better than a car that stands out in the middle of everything else. i'm also getting rally wheels (bottom of post). borla loudmouth exhaust to give me some sound, and a retinting of my windows to make them darker. tell me what you think!

sounds cool but why go with corvette rally wheels? for close to 700 bucks you can get way better rims than that imho

89ers - i can get the same rims for $400, that was just the best pic i could find

flyinlow - i said the same thing when somebody first showed them to me on the internet, but i've seen them on a camaro at a car show recently and they're some of the best suited rims i've seen for 3rd gen.

if yall don't think i should get these rims, what kind do yall suggest? anything besides stock will be a welcome change

yeah i've seen the chrome irocs...they look good but i'm going for good looking and different. an example, sorry for the mustang reference, is the cobra R wheels. yeah they look good, but everybody who upgrades their rims gets those.

I am not sure about those rims on a 3rd gen. I had some Corvette Rallies on my 79 Z/28 and liked they way they looked, I have just never seen them on a 3rd gen.

what do yall think of these rims? my car will be mostly orange so i think the black rims will look good w/ it. also, i had a tire blow about 3 months ago and the tread was running low on all the tires so i replaced them all with P235/60R15RWL. the rims are only 15in., but since i have practically brand new tires (costing $450 by the way) should i get 15 in. rims? or should i sell my tires and get 17 or 18 in. rims and new tires? i think the black rims will look good if they're not wrapped in too much rubber, but i think having 5-6 inches will look bad. anyway, let me know what yall think. i tried to post a pic of the rims but it said the file was too big so here's a link. the rims i'm looking at are the 6th from the top: ZOOM 7 HYPER BLACK - Hyper Black Finish.

http://www.victoriatire.com/package_...ge%20Specials&

(it may take about 20-30 seconds to load cause they have pics of like 50 rims on that page)

I like your plans except for the rally wheels. I think they look ugly, and they don't come in any size larger than 15." I am tired of seeing 15" wheels on thirdgens, unless they are wider than 8 inches.

I don't really like the Zoom ones either, but they're much better than the rally rims. Also, I wouldn't get 15 unless you get em real wide in the back. Just my opinion though

nope....don't like those either.

but, my opinion shouldn't matter as it's your car; be yourself and pick what "you" like. to hell with everyone else.

cost alot more than that.....

if your on a budget try some of the more popular versions like the tt2's, 10 spoke ss, zr1, 4thgen ss, 17" iroc, etc.

what size are you looking for?

I would go with the SS hood not the big block hood. I really don't like it that much. But it's your car so do what you want.

well i have 15in. rims now, but i'll be gettin new rims and tires, so either 17 or 18 in. i've seen that SS hood and i like it about the same as this one, but the SS is about $100 more.
