Squeaks, creaks, groans, thumps, bumps, moans and groans.
I couldnt stand the noise my car was making this morning. Just soo many different sounds that it drives me nuts. Im now thinking about calling my car a lost cause and find something else.

maybe they should sell their cars for better ones so that they wouldn't complain about parts that have worn out or break because of the age of their car.

I wouldnt be bothered if I could put it down to just the cars age (11 years still isnt that old). But since I also ride in a vette thats 20 years older than it and barely even squeeks (caused by **** in the seat after throttle mash) I guess my standards are a little high for a car with no frame.
I was just angry this morning, Im looking up new weatherstripping and sound deadener right now. As much as the car sucks my money and pisses me off, its still a blast to ride in.... and I dont see myself ever selling it.

Gee I wonder why they have crappy brakes, rattles, the paint sucks and just about whatver else people have mentioned in this post. They are old and for the time that they were made they were awesome performers and people tend to forget that. Hence why I said the owners are the worst part of a thirdgen.

No big complaints about mine.Glad to see that there are others out there that have to tap the hood in order to get it up.I even adjusted the tension in cable and still I have to talk to it just right for it to pop up.Another pain are the concealed headlights always going off and on.Sometimes they refuse to come on when using the dashboard switch and other times they come on all by themselves.I'm not a big fan of day-time running lights! But besides those minor things,I love it just the same!

are slow. How they could take their top of the line Camaro--the IROC and put a 170hp TBI in it is beyond me--thats bad marketing.
Ford had it right--all LX V8's and GT's had one engine--one (high) 225hp rating.
GTAs, Trans Am, Formulas and IROCs shoulda been all 350TPI or 305 TPI 5spds.
Oh and the Camaro RS should ave been availbel with TPI (in a non B4C car)

Yup,it would'nt have killed GM to add a little more hp to our f-bods.350 TPI's as standard equipment should have been implemented.

My car used to rattle but i changed out the whole interior (went for orange to grey) and i have no more rattles .. i dont even have sfc's. My car is nice and quiet on the interior
I hate when people say, "hey hows the t-bird?" or "You still got the T-bird" and i say, "no i dont still have the t-bird, i got the firebird though. " Then people that say "your trans am is gay/stupid" Me: " Well its a formula, but thanks anyway"
I really hate the T-bird thing.

I'll second that one.
The only one I forgive is when people mix up IROC-Z and Z28, because unless you're into these cars and you have memorized which years had Z-28's, and which years had IROC's, you can expect the average joe to know the differnce.
Calling one an IROC-Z28 is just annoying still.
If people don't know the difference, they should just call it "camaro", or "firebird". Anyway you slice it, that's at least technically correct.

Rattles, choking out TPI, MASS AIR HOE SENSOR, trunk hatch motor (that thing sux0r), snow handling (lack there of), TH700r4 durability, and inaccesibilty of to the 7 and 8 cylinder spark plugs!!!!!!!!!!!
But the looks, handling, 14 second mustang killing 1/4 performance bone stock, t-tops, low ride, and the fact that with just about 7 grand invested into go-fast parts can dominate any new car on the street is what makes me stick with my car and buy another one if I had to!

you know what, i'll correct my pet peeves. i got two
1- service engine soon light
2- no cupholders
but i gotta agree with zerotosixtyV8, gotta love eatin stangs and sh!tin on imports. 0-40in 1st and 45-90 in 2nd, find me any other car that car do that for the price, and do it over and over runnin mid-upper 14's with out a problem, that leaves two solid black tires marks on concrete u out n-droppin her. or gets nuttin but traction and good handling w/o the weedwacker sound or the sound of the choking ride.

I've never had ground clearance problems. Theres a couple places around town that you wouldn't want to take your third gen but other than that it's fine. And Dallas is pot hole hell.

YEh the worst has to be the rattles and squeeks i replaced my whole dash to stop the squeeking seemed to work tho. Another thing is the heavy doors. But more than anything i hate since i got my paint job is i hate how the tires stick out and every peble i run over hits the quarters. I wont even go on a road full of pot holes. It also it to rough after the hotchkis springs.
