Can 2nd gen rims (81 Z28) fit on a thirdgen without problems, or will I need spacers or something?

I had 3rd gen wheels on my 2nd gen Camaro, so I would think the 2nd gen would fit with out any problems.

the 70-81 15 inch 5 spokes with the trim rings will fit but im gonna say not the 80-81 NO-90's as in the second pic because they use a special lugnut only used on those rims and the trans am snowflakes but the lug nuts were only in 7/16 not metric like thirdgens use so they wont fit properly without changing your thread over. but montecarlo ss rims that look like those will fit because they look exactly the same but they use the same taper lugs as the third gens with aluminum rims.

I wish that I had saved the pic of the early 3rgen that had them on it..damn. The MonteSS rims aren't the same as the rims on the Z the only difference is the center caps and also the lug nuts and holes are tapered, not flat shouldered like the true N90s. The tapered nuts from the Monte wheels are for metric thread, not SAE. Just change the lug bolts and the rims will fit.
