ok, please don't think that im an idiot, but i know nothing of the keyless entry or door poppers. So from your remote you unlock the door, then through a different button on the car you push and it pops the doors open? I only have manual locks but i was told that i could have a local comapny add power locks with remote for $200. then all i would have to add was door poppers. Is that a good deal for the locks, and is it hard to install door poppers? How much do they run? thanks

Personally I think the buttons are a really dumb idea, but hey its your car. I would have gotten a remote for it, but oh well. Sooner or later someone is going to find out about the buttons and things will get stolen, not to mention that after a while of constantly sliding your hand under your fender it would get annoying.

You are right the way you did it. Remotes fail or get lost and having a hidden switch can save the day. One of my cars had a magnetic switch hidden under a window rubber. All you needed was a small magnet and you could open the door if your remote was not working. Saved my *** once at the gas station. It was pouring out, I pulled up, go out of the car and closed the door. DOH!

Car running, radio cranking and me with no way in. The gas station had a few tourist magnets in they wroked!
