Do you mean that the spoiler lines up with the end pieces, or? Never really realized that that was a problem.

Does anyone know where I can find pictures that show the flowmaster dual 3 inch tips and the 2 1/2 inch tips so I can decide which to get? Ive been trying to find some pics of the dual 2 1/2 stainless tips, but I cant find them anywhere. Anyone have them? How do they look compared to the dual 3 inch stainless tips? Thanks

I like no tips at all, My formula had a flowmaster on it when i bought it and whoever did the install made the pipes point down to clear the bumper, which looked retarded. So i busted out the Sawzall yesterday and cut them off so that you don't see any pipes when you look at the car from the side. I don't go for the whole truck tip setup, I think it ruins the look of the car.

I think the HO is basically the TPI. But I could be wrong. If you go on the description on Summitt's site, it will tell you what engine code in your VIN the system is for. I know it says only about a 5.0, but like I said I got the one for code 8(5.7 HO).

heres the ones i have now they're 4" x 12" but i dont like how they angle so come summer i'm going to get 90' bends at the dynomax and then just put the 4" or 4.5" tips that are 24 or 36" right off those for the straight massive look

3 1/2" x 18" stainless steel, 15* angle cut, with rolled edge.
I have a scar on my leg from the AutoZone 45* 'screw-on' type with the unfinished edge.
After that happened I switched to the ones I have now.

Well, here are my tips. Didn't buy them, they were already on the car when I bought it.
I have no idea what brand/product it is, all I know is that its loud.
I measured the circumference of the pipes coming off the manifolds and it measured 9.5" in every place. Circumference / pi = diameter of 3" all the way from the manifolds to rear. So all I know about my exhaust is that its a 3" exhaust from the front to the back.
Its most definitely not stock. No way in hell.
VERY large pic, and don't feel like clocking up my webspace with more useless pics. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/wjrneo...a/gtaext06.jpg
