Widebody Kit: Anyone Have?
Widebody Kit: Anyone Have?
Does anyone have pics of the widebody kit for Camaro's? The ONLY one I have ever seen is the the one on the gunmetal gray camaro. I'm pretty sure most have seen it, if not, I'm ataching the pic. Any pics of other thirdgen's with it?
You're right, everyone has seen that car. I like it....kinda. I think it would look alot better without the louvers, and that godawful hood. Ecch! Other than that i think it would look pretty badass. Put some BBS style wheels and some fat tires on it
what makes up the wide body kit? Is it just some fiberglass panels you have to some how attach to the body with bondo or rivits? It wouldnt be bad if the front fenders were one piece and ther rear quarter were weld ins.

you probably have to take the old quaters off and weild them on instead... I hope they are sheet metal cause if it is fiberglass I would stay as far from them as I could because if you do that mod and give your car enough torque to need huge tires, those fiberglass quater will just tear in your face
They're all new body panels. Fiberglass would deteriorate the integrity of the car. As we all know, Camaro's arent exactly the stiffest cars in the world. Hmm, maybe the money and time spent in a tubular chassis might be worth it.....
