not a big fan of blackouts, go with rims, and a lowering kit, then maybe a hood, and a paintjob, followed by exhaust and performance parts.... ect ect ect

A lowering kit is a good idea! if I did that the stock wheels would stay on for a wile because the tires have good tread and I am in high school so money is kinda an issue. Would it look good with stock wheels and lower about an inch or 1 1/2. Next year I will put a motor in her.

I agree it looks very nice the way it is but some tint would look really good and then exhaust and engine mods but keep that stock exterior.

It looks great man. I wouldn't do a thing. Definately no blackouts, just go with powertrain improvements.

I like it the way it is. You have a really clean stock ride.
The only thing I would do is spend some time and money on the engine. As for Appearence I would maybe try to get some 88 iroc rims. Black-outs are nice, but there no essential in my opinion.

the wheels match the car so well, I'd keep 'em, just polish them up!

I think some all red taillights would look pretty good on it. It looks good the way it is too.

paint the GFX to match the car. i absolutly hate 2 tone 3rd gens. They look too 80's for me. The rims also need to hit the road. Either some 88-90 IROCs or some 4th gen 5 spokes if you wana keep it inexpensive.

I'd say keep the looks the same, minus mudflaps, and work on drivetrain. I'm not a particular fan of those wheels myself,.....but.....they truly match that car well. Maybe it's because they match the ground effects. The car is beautiful though.

I say wheels because they can dramatically change how your car looks.

I'd keep it stock, nice stock Z28's are pretty rare. Most I see are battered ******* mobiles or heavily modded. Either way, thats a nice car:hail:

I have a set of 85-88(?) Iroc wheels but I bought them of ebay and the jerk only sent me 3 of em. the insides had been painted black so I couldn't find one that matched. So I bought a single front wheel of ebay and it has a crack in it and I am unsure if it is safe to use. it dosn't match either. So I am trying to sell the wheels to pay for the stereo. I want different wheels but the stock ones match too good. Anyone know anyway I could find wheels that are the same style and/or color as the ones on it, only 17's? I would build up a 350 but I just started driving and the 305 is enough for now. I plan on a motor swap neext year, though

You should sell it to me dirt cheap. I doubt you like that idea, so how about leaving the appearance as is. Your car is one of the rare ones that appears well taken care of. Just spend the money on the engine.

Should I rebuild the 305 or go with a 350?

350 if speed is your goal, but a 305 can be quick and would save you some money. I know when I was in HS I didn't need to spend money on an engine swap.

I think it looks great as is, but some Eibach Pro-Kit springs would give it a great look. And put some armor-all on that tire.

If I pull the stock 305 and build a 350 I can put the stock motor back in it for it to be original. But then i will have to pay more money for a 350. Maybe if I hold off on the stereo and not buy new wheels I will be able to afford a 350 this year. decisions, decisions.......
