does anyone have any pics of 82-84 z28 hoods with stainless steel mesh in the holes? im thinking about doin this to my car after i get it painted so u cant see the weakling powerplant of a 3.1. i bought the hood cheap but dont have the stock assebly like on the crossfire injection. do you all think that this would look good? or do u have other sugestions on what i should do to it? my second idea is put some stainless or polished aluminum sheet metal at an angle so that u cant see into the engine compartment but then have a red neon tube so that when it shines is glows so that the light bounces out the little scoop holes but u still cant see the neon tube.
