getting new paint and emblems, some questions

ok my 89 camaro RS was orginally black, i was gonna repaint it black but since i saw a 92 camaro with medium quasar blue paint i fell in love, but if i do paint it that color my door jams and under hood will be black, i think that might look ok...what do yall think? and next thing is that im gonna get new emblems, i was thinkin of doin the RS 25th package but i was thinkin after i saw a post of a thirdgen SS that i might get SS emblems, what do yall think about that?

give me some feedback i hope to have it painted friday

I wouldn't change colors unless you're doing under the hood and the jams. I think black is a cool color to stay with and it would be easier. Maybe put blue stripes or something on it.

Leaving the underhood and doorjams wouldn't look as bad if left black as say....red or yellow. I don't think it would look bad.

i dont think it would look to bad. You could have them leave under the hood black and maybe just do the jams. but it would be ok if ya left em black.

i don't know i think that if your gonna repaint, repaint everything but that's just me it might not look that bad, the emblems would most likely be a plus they will make your car stand out more to people.

I say the color is up to you but I think if you go w/ the blue atleast have the door jams and the under the hatch done. As for the badging I am not a big fan of false badging so I say go w/ the rs decals.

I dont think there is anything wrong with ss badges. Like he said he is obviously not trying to be an imposter seeing as they never even made an ss third gen. I say go for it.

Oh, boy, not this again.

An RS is an RS is an RS is an RS. In 100 years it's still gonna be an RS.

IF you feel that since it's your car, you can make it an SS, well OK, HITHERE'm not gonna argue.

Different is cool. ...and it's your car.

My only point is that your car is an RS. Just because they didn't make HITHERE thirdgen SS, doesn't mean your IS an SS. It's still an RS. It's not any more of an SS than it is an Iroc. Don't get me wrong, HITHERE know HITHERE few of you guys have SS decals, and HITHERE think it LOOKS great. But HITHERE just think it's shady. No one takes off Iroc or Z28 emblems, why do you guys with RS's feel you need to change yours? Are you not proud of the Heritage?

HITHERE think RS sounds cool.

mine were taken off so the car can be painted...i think the SS will look good and differant...i know a few people that dont have IROC emblems on there car they have Z28 instead cause they dont like the IROC, i also know a guy that has a 25th RS and he has Z28 outside emblems and a custom SS on the inside...yes its a RS it will be tomorrow 2 days from now and 10 years from now...but after i take out the motor theres nothing saying it ever was a v6...it could have been a 82 SC that i put 89 gfx on with RS emblems but then it wouldnt be a RS...but everyone would think it is, that is a imposter....SS emblems..i could understand imposter if it was a 4th gen...but someone find me a 3rd gen SS and i will praise your findings...good luck searching
