last one. Paint on all of these was only about a week old. I had the entire car all repainted with bright red #8774 and had new moldings, stripe kit, and the silver accent paint just like it was the day it rolled off the assembly line.

84Grn: is that the car that ran the 12.50's ? It is good to see an fbody that actually looks fast - it looks like you are on your way to compete in the outlaw class!

Thanks for the compliment! I'm using 1" drop springs from Hypercoils, I got them from VetteBrakeProducts (along with sway bars and bilstein struts/shocks, came as a package deal). However, to only list them as 1" front and back, the front definately sits lower than the rear, and the car sat level before the springs..............oh well, I like it! And it handles like a beast!

I'll have to get some better quality pics when the car comes out of the paint shop (hopefully within the next week!!)

And thanks 89blackGTA for bringing the pics!!!!! You da man!!

Joe.

yah it is. Check the GTA source page.

Either way, the car's never been repainted and it's a factory 87 GTA....so it's factory. I think I remember reading somewhere about improper badge placement on some of the later models. Not sure though

been there, done that. mine looks exactly like Frankies. maybe it is the angle of your pic but your sail bird looks like it is way too close to the leading edge of that panel.

irocbirdbuilder: thats pretty sweet that u get to take ur car out on the ice. i play hockey (although everyone gives me sh*t about being from california), and i've always wanted to drive my car, or even a zamboni on the ice. and no, i dont suck... i've gone to the powell river junior a prep camp in B.C. the past three years and i've been on teams that played in numorous tournaments in the states and canada.

oh... i've always wondered: what the hell is under the hood of a zamboni... how is it layed out??

Yes, the gfx is still running th original factory paint, and the original decals, so they are in the original spots. They only put them there in 91-92 to my knowledge.
