I am about to buy an 89 Firebird. I would love to modify the look of it to look incredible. Please post the best pics of any 3rd gen firebird you have seen.

here's my interior. Mods are in sig. since you'll own a firebird, the console change will be the easiest thing to change out for you.

 

Here's David Heckman's car. He also came to the 2nd Houston Thirdgen Gathering.

If you do a tail - light swap...find some of these awesome pieces.

this is the best trans am out there. ram air 2 hood and ram air filter setup was just finished. 51,700 miles no winters.

 

Ya, it was like that when I got it. When I repaint it it will be gone, I HATE it. I take it by your question it is not stock? Sadly, I am still learning alot about these cars.

I love the ram air II hoods, but probably won't be able to put one on because of the carb spacer. It has a 2 or 3 " cowl hood on it now. I also am gonna hopefully put on ground effects. How much do those run? Any ideas?

Thanks! Still working on it. I am installing the F.A.S.T. engine management system, installed SVO 30LB injectors, just removed A/C, ordered some suspension parts from Spohn, and just added some braided fuel lines.

 

i've been a camaro man all my life, was always my favorite car. lately i've been lookign for an iroc to put my newly rebuilt 350 into. the moer i visit this board, the more i like trans ams. in fact, there's one i might go for in the next couple days.

I am selling it because there is a certain firebird that has caught my eye

 

Well if I had your car it would have to be a certain, Supercharged 98+ WS6, firebird

 

The IROC I have is flat out a blast. It gets bunches of looks, lots of folks wanting to race (I even had a highschooler offer to wash my car each week in exchange to drive him around the neighborhood to his buddies) and can def. hold its own at the track. With more tuning, I wouldn't be happy with anything less than deep 11's. It is just time for something new.

 

So how much are you selling it for?

 

Personally, I'm not into body panels, wings, scoops, buldges, etc. The Firebird can look good just as it is. Mine is an '89 like yours.

 

I like to think that I own a pretty nice thirdgen bird..........check the sig. I have no clue how to post a pic here, so you'll have to go to the site to see her!! Unless someone can do it for me! Thanks.

Crazyjoe....... really nice looking car.. how far is it dropped.. looks like the front sits a little lower than the back.. I like that. I hate the saging rear that they have stock..

i'd like to think mines uniqe in that i am the first ever to put cobra's on a ta.....

i have of cousr the ram air 2 hood and a turbo wing 2... i like the saleens on 5.0's thats why i went with it.....

i personally like 91-92 formulas better because they are lighter and have more potential for et's due to being lighter..... and they don't have the ugly black inserts...

the pic i have included is what i plan on it too look like.. good ol nolan above done a fantasic job of lowering it to give me an idea of what it will look like....
