I have always wanted to turn the orange parts of my tail lights to red, I think it would look TONS better that way! any Idea on how that would be done?

I'm in the process of reproducing clear lenses, as many people on the Body and Interior board seemed interested in them. The mold for the first one is almost done, then i have two methods and materials i want to try out. If all goes well, i may have results by the end of the week.

We've all seen photoshops, but no one knows (i dont think) what it will actually look like done.

THe first mold is a right side 85-90 Formula tailight, so time will tell...

Im shooting for acrylic, just like the originals were made (i think). But im also taking a peek at vacuformable plastic. Right now the issue with that is that i can'g get it thick enough to be really solid, while still being think enough to take the shape around the mold. The stuff i have here now takes the shape, but if you press on it with your finger, you can bend and crease it.

Its just gonna take a few more tries to see how it evolves. The acrylic is completely doable, im just hesitant over the cost....

Z lights would be the last ones to get done though, as its another whole set of molds.....
