Guys,
Some stupid wench whacked me today, smacked the drivers wing (fender) and door mirror. The door mirror in turn broke the black plastic "quarter light" inside the door. Just wondering how much you guys in the US would pay for an aftermarket new wing.





I do no more than 3,500 miles a year, it's a sunny day, damn beech is not paying attention. I make no apologies for tarts (i.e. stupid women) who may or may not take offense at this post.

The first major show of the year is the weekend after next, and camaro fenders do not grow on trees over here

 

In the states you can get a used fender for 80-90 bucks. Sometimes less, sometimes more.

The damage doesn't look that bad?

Why not repair what you have?

 

New reproduction parts are going to be about $250 US., according to Year One Used parts will be much cheaper, but I'm given to understand that Camaro parts cars are few and far between on your side of the pond.

I understand about wanting to replace the damaged panels with new steel, so there's no hammer work or Bondo on the car. Any steel that gets creased like that is hard to put right.

I got lucky and nabbed a fender from one of Zepher's 'eternal project cars' for $30.

 

Oh my ***- stupid cow! What was she playing at? Like I always say it isn't you but the other idiots you have to worry about That is **** news mate! I have seen them listed on ebay.co.uk before. Do a search under Camaro- IIRC they are about £100

What a nightmare!
