Monster F Body Garage
I saw in a recent thread Firebird 7777 mentioned Monster Garage and I go to thinking.
If a third gen f body were on Monster Garage, what would be something cool to turn it into?
Photoshops pix would be cool, or F-body ideas you have made in your own garage.
As I understand it, the show takes suggestions, so lets think of something cool guys and maybe we will get a chance to see what Jesse James and the crew can do.

Thats not the point he was making. Sure someone could also by a 4 speed '69 Convertible Trans Am (1 of 4 made) and set it on fire, roll it...i mean its their car and all. Now that car is, however, lost forever.

I personally love the show and think it would be cool to see a thirdgen on there. Just as long as it was not something rare

i wouldent want to see a 3rd gen since they destroy every car they get their hands on. also jesse james doesnt do crap on the show but get it done the way he wants and the people he gets does all the work sorry his bikes arent that creative either.

the whole point behind the show is creativity. i think its a great show for kids to watch. because alot of people really lack the creative drive to say hey you know what. im gonna do this and then figure out how to do it and then go and do it. i respect each and every person who appears on that show. and as far as not destroying a 3rd gen. it wouldnt be any worse than what alot of people on this very board do to their cars that is just appolling but to each his own.

why is it that every tv show that has a 3rd gen in it the car gets thrashed not saying that monster garage is going to thrash it but they are still going to take a torch and other misc objects to it. do you all remember that episode of fastlane when they totalled that camaro off the clif?! i mean what the hell why is TV's depiction of 3rd gen's so negitive that they feel they have to blow them up, cut them apart, or total them out completely?

With all these crap post theres only one idea someone has actually came up with......you should all be ashamed of yourselfs except Josh there.
As far as ideas go I think ive seen only half the shows so if I repeat an idea that they have already done then thats why. See I think they wouldn't want to pick a 3rd gen as its harder for them to chop up cause there unibody.
Ummmmm how bout a 3rd gen as a:
-tractor pull
-snow plow or grader
-dump truck (needs a twist tho if not its too easy)
-some kind of harvester (potatoes, blueberries, some kind of fruit or veg)
ohhhh i know one
an armored tank w/ gun he likes guns. That would be sweet!
Got to remember that there going for some what stock apperence.

Where are there any perfectly good f-body's left except in some guys garage who bought the car from a showroom and never drove it?
they probally destory more f-bodys in tv shows, is becuase mustangs and f-bodys are a dime a dozen, i know a junkyard that has atleast 12 305 cars sitting and about 4 350 cars, pre l98 thats why i will nerver believe the no sales thing that gm tried to say , for termination of the f-body , what they meant to say they were loosing corvette sales, hence ram air transam compariable to vette preformance - price tag,
and we all know gm isnt going to get rid of there flagship, poster child vette,
any of you guys see nash briges, i hated that show but they had a red extoric sports car in one scene going off a dock into the lake, but when they cut to the car hitting the lake and sinking it was a red trasnam, lol how cheesy is that, ?

Gotta agree with Firebird7777 on that.
As much as ya'll hate ta hear it....... thirdgens are NOT that special.
Heck..... it's the same body for 10 yrs straight. How many millions were built? You can make an '82 look like a '92 or vise-versa. There isn't that much of a change in overall appearance.
I think they should make a snow plow out of one.
As low as they sit, it sure wouldn't take much. :sillylol:

how about making a street seeper out of a thirdgen. maybe it will do more then .5 mph. I hate when those damn things drive so slow and cause major traffic jams. I say make one that at least does the spped linit and still picks up sand and stuff

I think he's already done it, but turning an F-body into a lawn mower would be pretty cool. Wouyld really help me out when I have to mow our almost-football field size back yard in the summer! Quicken the job up a little, ya know.
I have loads of respect for Jesse James, but I didn't much appreciate it much when he told the whole country how to steal our F-Bodies on Conan

First of all, I like the designs of Jesse James's choppers. I had never been a huge fan of motorcycles until I saw the show.
I wasn't too happy with the Porsche 944 golf ball grabber and the Lawnmowing Mustang. Regardless, I do find the show interesting.
Now, if a thirdgen were on the show, it would most likely be an IROC because those cars seem to get the luck of the draw on being the most butchered by some people.
My guess is that they would turn the thirdgen into something like a portable barbeque.

cant beat that RX7 show... that gun was awesome... they have been kinda getting lame for a while now..... the roller skating thing was dumb.. it didtn look like a RV after it was done... it would of been sweet if it transformed into one.. sides open up and what not... oh well... thirdgen monster garage... i say it would be a... umm... submarine... hehehe... that would be cool...

If ya watch the show, there is a thirdgen part in there from a 86 or 87 car . lol The rear hatch. Where they all sit arround and take a break. The thing they have the design hanging up on. thats the hatch

I think a thirdgen on the show would actually be a rather kewl idea for getting some publicity out for our somewhat forgotten/underrated beasts! I totally know where you guys that are talking about destroying 3rdgens are coming from...I went to the track the other day and a Charger kicked up a rock and just barely nicked my paint and I about cried! They don't always completely butcher those cars, though, some of them just make you want to go out and get one.
If I were to say what they should try to turn it into it would be like a mobile mini-bar or something.
Actually I really like the idea of turning it into a street sweeper. I completely agree, they are a pain in the ***. Seeing a Camaro doing 75mph down the side of the road with a brush coming out the bottom of it could be quite entertaining!!
And one more note, I would pay some big $$ to see that "IROC' n ROLL" in real life...great work on the picture!!

yea i've seen his bikes.... i like them. and my dad is a total monster garage freak. i think he know's just about every project they've worked on so i'm sure he'll tell me about the 3rd gen when he see's it. i think the lawn mower would be a good idea, i mean cut mowing time in half and have fun doing it and also look vary stylish while staying cool in your a/c car mowing the lawn.

yeah Kat i have noticed that hatch too.....if i remember correctly it had a third break light on it so it would be an 86
i have nerver seen any of his bikes but im sure they are bad, is his bikes as good as ooc bikes,
on the stang mower it was ok, but in tall grass the mower woudnt work , it was just a mower in a car, now if he would have hooked the belt or chain drive to the drivetrain, and use the horses from the motor, now that would have been interesting, allthough i like the green color they painted that car,
i think they need to do a gullwing conversion, with flamming exhuast and semi tubed ,
