Smoking your headlights...

i want to make my car "flow" more so i was thinking about using the spray tinting stuff on my head lights, i'm allready going to do it to my side turn signal lights (after i get clear ones) but i'de like to get your guys input on it, how much would it darken it? do you think its a good idea or not? should i clear coat it... stuff like that

The spray tint is not black. It's dark blue. Dark enough to look black until you switch your headlights on, at which point your car will emit a rather illegal blue/purple light. To boot, it looks really bad as well.

My opinion is no.

I'm gonna have to agree with si_camaro here, but you may have a few more opetions. Me personally, I use blackouts, I think it smooths out the lines of the car. Also I've seen where somebody made their own blackouts that fit right in front of the headlight, keeping the buckett open, but still having the same effect.

I think this all depends, I've had mine for about 5 years with this Texas wind, and I haven't lost one yet. I would suppose it's all on how they were installed.

Like I said in the email, but I want to point out here so others aren't mislead.

It is BLACK., and when the lights are on you can't even tell it's on. I applied it to the outside and it starts to fade after a while

Search for my pics, you will see it's black.
