Under Hood Mat???

I installed the blister hood on my Camaro this weekend. I kept the underhood mat of my stock RS one, and went to install it on this Iroc/Z28 hood. The holes don't line up. Are the underhoot mats different?? Or am I just not doing something right from huffing paint fumes all weekend??

If different, can someone gimmie part #'s for all the different ones. I am unsure of the year of the hood I got.

The hood looks good. If your engine isn't going to get warm alot I would keep the matt off since you just painted it. I would take off the matt on the 82, but theirs some rust its covering up.

I live in the south, so it does get a tad warm. Also right now the elec fan decided to quit working

Another thing is, I figured I only had enough paint to do the outter underside of the hood, so the underside middle is still white.

Can I still get these things from the dealership, or are they used only now.

Also, anyway to tell the year of a hood from the bottom side??

I'm half tempted just to drill the holes needed, but don't really want to do that.

That sucks, if it doesn't work out you can probably get a mat from the junkyard, just a suggestion.
