Ahh cheers man. Also they are original that way too! Mate I could see myself having a few beers with you. We usually go to the SummerNats but this year we are going down to the NASC Hot Rod Nats- far wilder with wet t-shirt comps and a massive cruise through the villages. Check out http://www.uk-hotrods.co.uk/nats%202...onals_2002.htm for an account by someone who's been. Found the SummerNats far too tame. August 22nd - 25th.

Until then The CA Nationals will do.

Take it easy,
Felix

Ah yes........a beer!!!

Has to be done!

Anyway a question for you now on the wheel theme!!!

You've seen my car....with the American racing Eagles on...now i like them and all but i was thinking would it look better with 16" iroc wheels on it???

I just think that it would look a bit more factory really, but i have to weigh up the fact that i haven't seen another thirdgen in the uk with my wheels on

What do you think mate?

And if you prefer the iroc rims ( which i suspect you might!!! ) any idea of anywhere in the uk i can pick up a second hand set...condition isn't really a problem as i can soon have then blasted and polished/powder coated by my mate!!!

Cheers

What would your mate charge me for doing all 4 wheels?

I think you should get IROC rims, they are my favourites by a long way- I even prefer them to TTII's When I wanted my rear axle I placed a wanted ad in CA and got 2 replies one was from someone with exactly what I wanted and more!!! Worth a try. I'm all for a slightly enhanced factory look. They made them mean from the factory.....

Also get the sfc's- best thing you could mod especially with T-tops!

Felix

I'll ask him tomorrow how much it would be to do the wheels.

As to the sfc's........which ones have you got and where did you get them from?

I'm going to have to fit them if it makes as much difference as everyone says..

Later

Phil

Hi,

Mine are Southside Machine's. They came as part of the lift kit (though I think they are available seperately) I got them through Summit. Try L.A Racing parts (they advertise in CA) and they are very good at sourcing parts like that and getting pricing. Although they take their cut I always reckon on what it costs in $ you pay in £.. works for me.

Cheers
