Ive been in and out of this site for about 2 years now, not having a digital camera i never registered, but now that i got one i decided to go ahead and post some pics of my 86 iroc in the process of being redone. Here are some pics of my engine bay, some before and afters.

I was charged $30 for materials! Oh, and i bought a nice paint gun for $96. Like painting anything, it is time consuming if you want good results.

I like the look, and if you want to do headers now is the time! How many coats of clear did you put on? You should just take your time installing the motor, and try to hide alot of the wires and hoses, so you don't clutter the awsome job you did.
paint
the total cost of the paint was only 79 bucks for the paint, reducer and catalyst, then another couple hundred for a devilbliss gravity feed gun. This was my first time painting something this large and im glad to say it turned out well. As for the wires the car has been completly striped of all wires. only ones going back in are the ignition wich is only a few wires and then for the gauges and my fog lights. the heater, ac, cruise, all that stuff is staying out.
