New pics w/top down & painted louvers
New pics w/top down & painted louvers
Open to opinions, I'm not liking the white louvers very much. Doesn't matter much anyways, she's goin' under the knife in my garage soon. Actually it might be sooner than I thought, my 3rd alternator died today while I was out with the top down for the first time this year. All the money I got into my gun & compressor & materials....minds well finish what I started right?

Hmm...not sure if I like it or not.
I like how it matches the IROC-Z windsheild banner and the decals on the doors, but it's too "contrasting" from the purple for me. I think it would just take some time to get used to.

Now that I see the pictures myself...I think I like the louvers white.
I really like the color, just nobody notices the real color unless they see it in the right sunlight..and everyone thinks it's black! It looks awesome at night though, when the street lights hit it...ohoho man
Thanks for the comments. I really think I should invest in a set of wheels. I'm not a big fan of larger wheels though. I dunno why, I think I'd like a nice set of chrome Iroc-z wheels? I think that would bring out the door decals and make my car alittle brighter.

Purple vert = AWESOME.
White louvers on purple vert = FUGGIN AWESOME
I love your car Dan.
I just saved all those pics and added them to my "convertible" folder.
Good stuff!!
EDIT: I humbly request a shot of your car from ABOVE so I can get a better look at the louvers.

the only thing i'm not a huge fan of , is that the window banner looks a little too big... other than that.. that car is the man.

I don't like the white louvers, but maybe its cause of the huge white banner. I think they would look better without the banner. Sweet ride though.

Love the purple...but...I can't say the same about the louvers or the banner (sorry man...hate to down anyone, especially another 'vert...but they're just not my style). I hear ya on the wheels tho....although, I think they look good...and it was you who said you want new ones, not anyone else...but if ya go to https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...ghlight=deemax you'll see pics of mine...and a whole lot of wheel bashing!!
LOL Pimp ride...haha that just made my night.
If I told you guys the story behind my paint color, you'd never believe me....
I sent her to the body shop for a total repainting, but I had already made my appointment and hadn't chose a color. It was originally white..
So I was looking through a like, 10 paper booklet of paint colors (but with no actually color samples). And I came across the name Black Cherry, and said what the hell, paint the car that color. I had no clue what color it was, just hoped for the bets LOL.
The guy who painted my car, didn't say it to me at the time, but while he was working on it he told some guys in the shop that he was afraid it would be the ugliest color he's ever seen. But once it was said & done, he told me it's just about the prettiest, but aggressive looking color he's seen!
And yes, I do think the window banner is too large also... I'll get that fixed someday. I was looking at wheels again today, and I'm considering some 16" ZR1 wheels I see in my Jegs magazine. I'm not really a fan of 17 or 18" wheels.....

The car should fill the picture. You are shooting from way too far. Get up close
