Scratches and spydering on taillights

Scratches and spydering on taillights
Hey all, I got a set of taillights like look good from a distance straight on, but once you get close, you see all the scratches and the right taillights has a spider webbing effect. Is there anyway I can get rid of these? will polishing do it, or are the tails fubar? Any info is appreciated.
Well, I don't own a Camaro, but I own a bird and my tail lights were scratched, scuffed, marred, and everything else. I polished them with plastic polishing compound from Eastwood. Here are some after pics...
