thanks alot. the paint is PPG black base coat. it has about 4 coats of color and 2 coats of clear. i am going to wet sand and buff the car tommorrow. i'll get some more pics tommorrow. i was not the one to spray the paint (unfortunatly). i work at a body shop (thats were the car is in the pics) and the painter told me that he would paint it if i did all th prep work. so naturally i agreed. when i was done tapeing everything i gave him a call and he came to spray it. he is an awsome guy and he did an awsome job.

thanks alot guys. i work at Ramsey auto body in upper saddle river. my paint was the original paint but when i got hit i realized that i would never be able match the the paint. so i talked to my boss and he said it would be ok if i use the booth. if you want the number to the shop that i work at, it is 201-327-5460

heres two shots i got this morning. this is before i wetsanded it. i'll post a few pics tommorrow of the car after the wet sanding i did today.

its easier to spray the parts. when we painted my car i have noticable spots on the bumper where i didnt get enuff paint, so taking them off you can get them at waist level and see if u missed anything.

when you paint a car with the bumpers off it looks alot better. you can spray in all the hard to get spots so that it doesn't start pealing later on.
yes the ground effect are going to be silver again. we are going to paint them today after work.

how much do you think would a spray like yours would cost if i do all the sanding and taking off the bumpers, taping off everything..?

if you want a quote you will have to call the number that i listed above. i really can't give you any quote. here are that last pics for a while. i'll post more by next week when the car is completely finished. enjoy.

man seeing all these shiny third gens, makes me want to repaint my car. and my new paint job is 2 months old. i definatly need my car to be wetsandded
