thanks alot. the paint is PPG black base coat. it has about 4 coats of color and 2 coats of clear. i am going to wet sand and buff the car tommorrow. i'll get some more pics tommorrow. i was not the one to spray the paint (unfortunatly). i work at a body shop (thats were the car is in the pics) and the painter told me that he would paint it if i did all th prep work. so naturally i agreed. when i was done tapeing everything i gave him a call and he came to spray it. he is an awsome guy and he did an awsome job.

its easier to spray the parts. when we painted my car i have noticable spots on the bumper where i didnt get enuff paint, so taking them off you can get them at waist level and see if u missed anything.

when you paint a car with the bumpers off it looks alot better. you can spray in all the hard to get spots so that it doesn't start pealing later on.

yes the ground effect are going to be silver again. we are going to paint them today after work.

i don't think it would cost that much because now you are only paying for the paint. thats what i did. paint would probably cost around 200-300 dollars.

trans_am_ta_84
nice paint job. what paint did you use. did you paint it. it looks great. really bright.
