Offset woes

I've done a little research and realized that we have really crappy cars for offset. I've been looking for a 5-spoke flat faced wheel (Similiar to the 4th gen Camaro SS wheels or the ZR1 wheels). I've discovered that these will not fit, due to our wacky offsets.

My question is, is the only way to be able to mount these wheels with an adapter (similiar to THESE)? Is there another way, or another place to purchase these adapters? I need to prove that idiot at Kal-Tire wrong. Impossible to mount ZR1 wheels my ***.

Thanks.

you need the adapters. you could get a 4th gen rear, then you would only need the adapters on the front.

just what he said.......

there are plenty of companies that make wheels to fit our cars. however, most are custom build. expect to pay up or deal with adapters....even still you will often have to pay alot.

Thanks for clearing that up. However are there any other reputable places that make these things, or is that one site my only shot? (if so, that guy must make a fortune)

there are many places that make adapters.....

however, i don't know any others that use their own product to road race with and stand behind them like andris does. not to sound like an advertisement for him; but when i was deciding i was skeptical enough as it is trusting the adapters so i wanted proof that they could handle what i threw at them.

mine were 370+ from andris and then i had to spend another 200 to make them work perfect so if you can get by using a common size that he sells for cheaper consider yourself lucky. it could cost you alot more.
