There is no such thing as the best color for a thirdgen because its all subjective. I like the rare factory paint schemes.
Like the pale yellow with silver gfx found on some TAs, Z28s, and I saw it once on a Formula. They usually came with the black and grey lower body stripe.

My favorite is black, but you left out that orange color (Don't know the exact name, but CrazyHawaiin's car is that color). That would be my second favorite.
