when i get the camaro i'm gonna most likely paint it myself.....i have a 2 car garage, half of which is mine alone, the other half which i could probably borrow the space for for a few weeks...so thats how much room i'll have. What tools will i need? what sorta prep work do i need to do? i'm thinking about doing flames, so what do i need to know about that sorta stuff? Any links, pictures, videos....anything...would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance

well, get an aircompressor, good paint guns, gravity fed is what i like. a dual action sander, and a sanding block if u need to do any bodty work, u can sand it down to bare metal,or jstu get it smooth, and on a good surface that will hold the paint, get everytihng smooth ,use 80 grit w/ a dual action sander... then 180 before u prime it. ull hafta tape off everytinhg u dont want painted, ull want a clean surface when u paint it,as little dust and crap in the air as possible. just primer it,then let that dry, scuff up the primer some, make sure everythings smooth and any imperfections are gone, then do a few color coats, and wet sand any imperfections in taht w/ atleast 1000 grit. then shoot a clear, thats the basics, not hard at all,its all in the prep work. take your time, and have fun.i did mine, flames are a pain in the ***
