clear coating polished wheels

clear coating polished wheels

after polishing a set of wheels is it better to apply a clear coat or leave it bare?

Don't CC the wheels after you go through all the trouble to polish them. A true polishing job done right will resist dirt and brake dust better than any CC and won't cloud or chip either!

Or, just powdercoat them in Tiger Drylac - color: (Mirror-silver) and save the tiresome polishing. Just a thought!

No coating is gona produce the same shine as a Polished Job.
You can powdercoat a clear on or use a Good Quality clear.

Personally Id just buy some Zoop seal to go over polished work
