Valve cover trouble

Well today i wanted to get a little something to dress up the engine bay in my T/A. I bought some edelbrock signiture series valve covers for $40 at B&B autoparts. I was out in the garage trying to take off the old valve covers and the wont come off. I got the four bolts off but it wont budge. Is there any trick to getting them off? It looks like its going to be a PITA for the passenger side too with all the wires and crap. Any hints?? Thanks.

they're probably sealed with those ****ty cork gaskets. i took mine off recently only after prying 'em with a prybar and bending 'em a bit. rubber hammer wouldn't work. they came off, after a while.

then it was on to removing all the old gasket that got stuck to the heads. more fun stuff.

avtually you want cork gaskets, because if they do try to leak to asorb the oil, thicken up and stock the leaky part in small cases, STICK WITH TRIPPLE THICK CORK, why do you think pro drag cars use 2 gaskets that are cork??

and kyle, shove a screw driver under the lip and smack it with a hammer, they will come off.

You got to remember those have been on there for 17 yrs, like said just a little prying with a screwdriver should help.

I just noticed that my car has two PCV valves? Where am i supposed to put in the oil if i have only 1 hole on each valve cover and two PCV valves and an oil fill hole? I am so freakin confused! Did i maybe just get the wrong valve covers? The guy said i can use it on a 350 TPI.
