How do you clean and wax your car?

Hi!

I was wondering, what steps, EVERYTHING, do you do when you do a complete all day clean on your car?

Wash, Wax, Polish, etc?

From Start to Finish?... and what kind of products do you use or recomend?

i first go have fun driving though puddles..lol then i was the car with "zip wax" and a old green towel, then i dry it off with a big huge thick towel, then i wax with whatever i happen to reach for first, i usually use 3 differant waxes...lol then it stays clean for about 2 days then its back to the start again...its never ending..worst thing is, when mine is at its cleanest it looks the same as most other dirty cars..

I give it a good wash with whatever you use... i like good ole turtle wax car wash, or meguiars deep crystal or whatever it is.... go over it with a claybar, and then 2 or 3 coats of your favorite wax... that does the trick

wow many many hours of cleaning & detailing it..

1-wash it with "blue coral :wash & wax concentrate" lots & lots of soap suds
2-dry it with "the absorber"
3-spray all 4 tires with "black magic :tire foam"
4-dry & wax the cragars with "mothers mag polish"
5-wax the car with "mothers california gold".....BTW i give up on waxing my car cuz everytime i do someone always hits me,never fails!! (although ill probably end up waxing it good before winter hits)

6-sit back with a nice big glass of iced tea & look at it in amazement of how good it looks (atleast for an hour---d@mn birds )

Here is what i do-
1. wash with eagle one wet carwash concentrate..
2. dry with the absorber.
3. Eagle one wet tire shine....
4. Wax with MGC...and also make sure the chromes are shining!!!
5. Clean all of the glass inside and out.
6. vacuum the inside of the car.
7. use the dash duster, and make sure everything is shiny and clean.

I then enjoy it by cruising around town....I love the feeling after all of the work.

Well, here are the steps I go through:

1. First I take it to a high pressure car wash cuz my car gets VERY dirty. I go once over with the wash, then I go ahead and rinse it off. DO NOT USE THE BRUSH unless it's for your tires. That Foaming brush will totally scratch up your clear coat.
2. Next I chamois it off. I use a genuine cowhide chamois cuz those work the best.
3. After wiping it down I let it sit for awhile to let it totally dry off.
4. Next on the agenda is waxing...I use Carnuba Car Wax made by "Mothers." It's the best wax I've ever used. I think it even beats out the good 'ol Turtle Wax.
5. Last but not least I gotta get my tires lookin' good. I use Eagle ONE Wet Tire stuff. It works really good. Make sure you don't actually spray the stuff on you tires. This gets overspray all over your wheel well. Spray it on a rag or something and wipe it on.
There it is...gettin' your car looking like new in 5 easy steps. The steps may be easy, but they are time consuming.
