I detailed my IROC and got her ready to sell. I know its time and I want to liquidate all vehicles so we can invest in real estate. I think it came out pretty well, what do u guys think? Does it look like a $6500 ride to you? I used MGC Carnuba wax and some Meguires tire jizz.

So how does she look? I sure am gonna miss this car

It's a tough market right now. I've listed my GTA on a few websites and haven't had a single inquiry yet.

Thanks, Jim i was beginning to think there was something wrong with my car You gotta think too its hard getting that kind of money together and getting a loan on an old car is not going to happen. Kids, start kissing your parent s asses.

Hey,

If I was your side of the pond, I'd take it in a blink. Market is tough in the UK also at the moment. However, I still managed to liberate nearly $9k for my '89 RS! (Yup, that's an LO3)

There are not a whole lot of entusiasts looking to buy a 6500 thirdgen, let alone a thirdgen at all. I think it looks nice. I could never get another thirdgen-just too much I want to do to it and the project would never end.

Exaclty, most people would rather buy a cheaper thirdgen and work on it themselves....

You could always try ebay.com, but i highly doubt you would get what you are asking for it, although in most people's opinions on this board, your car is worth every penny, unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't think the same as we do.....

the problem is that, although it is a very nice car, you have to look at from an outsiders point of view. first off its old, very old to most people. secondly, if its a "old" stock car, most people would think 6500 is very high, and if its got alot of extras, and custom goodies that you liked/loved... those appeal to an even smaller croud.

but in either case, just find someone hard up for a thirdgen and consider it sold.

Nice to see that there are sellers that actually clean their stuff really good before selling it. I thought I was the only one. That's a very nice car and the interior looks great, too.

Oh yeah forgot to mention I'll take $5700 for it from a board member.

Thanks for all the input
