Polished Plenum

For all those that have polished their plenum and runnners to that incredable shine. How long does it stay that way. Do you need to repolish or wax every now and then? I just started to play with some of my parts to see how well i can get the hang of policsihng the parts. Go a bunch o stuff from the eastwood company to help me along the way. Thanks for any feedback.:hail:

as long as you put a good clear coat on it and main tain it, it will last for a long time.

Dont use regular clear coat, it will flake off and turn yellow.
I highly reccomend coating polished surfaces with Zoopseal,
http://www.zoops.com/zoopseal.asp its expensive but well worth every .01 you spend on it.
www.eastwoodco.com has polished aluminum clear coat for 9.99 a can.
