Very Nice! :hail:

I like how it's pretty much just the engine you see, no A/C, no emissions, just clean and simple

EDIT: what do you have left to do to it?

Wow, that is very clean.

Where did you get those things that go on the wheel wells?

They look a cap of some sort for your suspension, and stock they are usually pieces of plastic. Have no idea what they are called.

But yours are bad *** and chrome, how much they cost you? And what are they called?

typical 383 with aluminum parts setup for power adders and we'll leave it at that for now.

as far as the specs, it's faster then an 02' z06 without the 300 shot of nitrous. not that i would use the nitrous anyway since the drivetrain has less then 1,000 miles on her.

the strut tower braces are made by hunter motorsports. he use to frequent the suspension forum quite often although he got alot of slack because he wasn't a sponsor so i haven't heard from him in quite some time. they are actually polished aluminum not chrome and as far as price......well they aren't cheap.

as for other pictures i would be happy to post some new ones but the site doesn't seem to shine to kindly on that sort of thing.

:lala:

thanks guys!

yeah cobo lighting is terrible for that sort of thing. as far as finished pics. i don't think it will ever be finished but i'm working on a custom fiberglass interior and two more power adders for the engine so hopefully i'll have some exciting things to look at soon enough. thanks again for the kind words.

I noticed your alternator is on the right side of the engine there, instead of the left where I usually see them. Is there a minimum distance you're supposed to keep it from the battery? Just thought of that looking at your engine.

it's on that side because of the way everything is setup. it's actually a v6 style alternator that i had the internals custom built for my needs using a march pulley and bracket setup for sbc.

Just a note, the '86 T.A. alternator is on that side already. You can put the power source (alternator) just about anywhere, just increase the size of the wire the farther you go from the battery to maintain load demands.

BTW, bitchin swap Kandied!!!

"colour" to the wires? do you mean like colored wire loom? if so no....i want it to be a very clean looking bay. as i speak i'm working on hiding all the wires i can so that you won't see hardly any.

as far as the cai. it's made out of the same stuff my 4" exhaust is. just bent to fit the needs and ceramic coated much like a header and the rest of the brackets you see.

It hasn't been the topic of conversation so I didn't know if you dyno'd it or not.
