Shaved door handle kit
Shaved door handle kit
I found a shaved door handle kit by commando alarms, with this kit it requires that the doors be unlocked in order for it to work, is it like this with all of them or do some of them actually unlock the door before they pop it open?
I'm guessing it would be safe to leave the doors unlocked seeing as how there won't be any handles to pull on to open them, any one see any reason this would be unsafe? Should be fine with a good alarm, right?

once again i must warn you that i DO NOT own a car and i have not done anything like this to any cars, but....
When you shave the door handles you really dont need to lock the doors because the whole perpous of door locks is to prevent someone from opening the door.....how ya gonna do it without handles to open it with? Door locks cannot stop someone from breaking or pulling a window enough to either just cause damage or to reach in and open the doors from the inside, so you should get a good alarm with motion sensors and all that crap anyways.
I dont know about with camaros and stuff, but with some cars you have the handle in back to open the tailgate.....i doubt third gen camaros have them (never something that i've looked for on them...hmm...), but with the cars that DO, you should lock the doors unless you have the trunk handle shaved. thast about it....

Camaros don't have handles. The liscense plate flips down and there is a key hole that you use. My hatch is motorized, but I think it is the same with the older cars. I love how it is hidden!
