275/40 fit on 8.5'' Corvette 17

I have a set of Corvette wagon wheels and was wondering if 275/40's will fit on the front. They are 8.5'' wide. I am trying to get them today so a quick yes or no will be nice.

Thanks

Chris

A 275 is really more at home on a 9" or 9.5" wide wheel, you ought to call a local tire shop and they'd tell you real quick. The wheel/tire should fit without any problems on the car. You could probably cinch that tire onto that wheel though.

It should fit with no problems.
My friend has 315/35/17 mounted on his rear 9" SS wheels, so I don't see why a 275 tire wouldn't work on an 8.5" wheel.
