Spoiler Pic Request

Anyone have a picture of a camaro with a firebird spoiler on it? The one I'm thinking of is the one attached. I can get one cheap in a local yard for $35 and it would be something different from the standard camaro wing.

And I didn't ask for opinions. I want pictures. I'll make that decision on my own thanks. I'd think you of all people would understand that with all the mods you've done.

Just a note, the 'birds are an inch wider (or a little better) on each side over a camaro so, if you were decided on the wing/spoiler and grabbed it, just know it will hang over the edges (be to wide) on a camaro.

Here's my stock 1991 Z-28 wing. I like my stock wing the best!

You're talking about the top of the spoiler right? The mounts are the same still right? Except doesn't the camaro spoiler have 4 mount points on the inside and two on the edges, whereas the firebird spoiler has just 2? I don't have my car nearby for reference....

Deadbird is right on, the firebird rear end is significantly wider than that of a camaro. Sure, it will bolt up if that is what you are asking, they use the same hatch as well. It just looks kinda tacky. (Just think of all the imports with wings that are too wide for the car they are on, looks kinda goofy) I have seen a few cars floating around on this site and locally like what you are asking for, if no one posts just pop it off at the salvage yard and lay it on a camaro.

On another note, just a small correction on what 1bad91z was saying, there are (6) bolts that hold the stock 91/92 Z28 wing on the car. Aftermarket ones typically have 8, but the extra two are redundant.

Not offended exactly, just a bit annoyed at the time. Seems like everyone rattles their opinion when you're just trying to get an answer to a question.

Thanks for dredging up that pic. I had no luck doing a search. I didn't try going through the Reader's Rides tho.

That actually looks pretty good. It's different, without being too much. I'll probably photoshop it all one color to match the car and see how that looks and then make a decision.

Thanks, Flynlow92rs.

the actual "trunk lid" behind the hatch is the same on birds and camaros its when you get to the quarter panels that its wider i put the camaro 3 piece on the bird but the side pieces didnt fit so i have just the center. You want a diferent look MAYBE if you like it take off the sides and leave the center piece on thats how my bird is kinda gives it a longer look.
