ATTN GRABOID/Crazy/Kandied - Wheel question

What backspacing are you running on the rear wheels?

I am going with 17X10 rears... and I'm thinking about 5 3/4" backspacing.... I was originally going to go 5.5BS.... but the supplier only stocks 5 3/4". So that should still give me some extra lip in the back without clearance issues on the inside.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running a 9.5" wide rear wheel with 5.5 inch backspacing. I found out what everone with 17x9.5's was using and went with the same backspacing as them. I would check out what guys with 17x10 are using and use the same backspacing as them. Yes its possible.

i will have 18x10's in the rear for the new wheels but the backspacing is custom for the rim and i would hate to have something go wrong if you tried it. email me if you still want to know and i'll get the build specs for them. i can't imagine them being to much different from other wheels but who knows.

My 18x9.5" Z06 rims have a backspacing of 7.5" with a +56mm offset. So I used a spacer just under 2" to give approximately 5.5" of backspacing. The max backspacing on the rear is 5.85", so they fit like a glove. The max for the front is 5", however the 2" adapter in the front did the trick for mine (front). The tires on all four are 275/35 ZR-18's. Hope that was helpful.

that's one of the better looking camaro's i have seen in a long time. Nice detailing without overdoing it. Cool ride, man! Ilike the ss emblems more than the stripes.
