Black Camaro, Green stripes...opinions

I've been thinking about painting my car a nice deep black with some sort of deep neon green....but not too gaudy if you know what i mean. It would be with the big block stinger hood and the 91-92 wing. Most people so far don't like the idea, but I wanted to see if anyone has seen anything like it. Has pics of anything like it, or see what the thought was. Also, all the window's would be tinted nice and dark.

ive been wanting to do that for a few years now, but money and time is holding me back from it.. right now my cars red and its an everyday car, so i cant just strip it and paint it black... but someday i will have a car with a "similiar" paint scheme, but ill keep that too myself :P id say dont go for it, because i want to :P

do what you think would look cool man, originality will get more comments imo

Black with a forrest green maybe, but nothing like neon. I'd want it to be kinda low key.

A neon green wouldn't look good IMO

As mentioned a darker green would look green, maybe even a blue-green look.....

I would put a dark green as well. But if it were me i would put like a yellow stripe or outline. I've seen it on some other camaros and it looks pretty good. Red stripes/outline and white stripes/outline will work as well. But if u do decide to get a green i wouldn't recomend a neon type.

i don't know if i really mean neon green. I can't put the kind of green that i want into words. My friends just call it "yeah buddy green". But it would look like a deep bright green...the green that i wanted was on a marilyn manson poster. I don't want a *****. But i think it would look tough, with some TTII's or Snypers. I dunno, I would also like to see some photoshops of this. :lala:

This could look good if done right. As said before, the shade of green is key. I think I'd go with something a bit lighter than forest green for contrast, but nothing too blinding. Uncommon idea - I like it.

Bleh! You people are reading my mind.

I agree, anything even close to neon green wouldn't seem right. And I'm not sure a dark green would stick out. So go somewhere in the middle. Green and black would look nice, so just like they said, make sure you have the absolute best match.

I've been planning this now for a few years. But as it has been said before, it's not going to look right unless you get the right green. And that's what i've been having a problem with. I've got this vision of a camaro in my head, and it looks totally bad ***. But I'm afriad that I'm gonna find out the hard way if i picked the right green or not. hehe

Anybody want to take a stab at photoshoping something like this? I'm curious to see what it would look like.

Sorry, no time or talent for the photoshop, but I have a thought - I know it's not really green, but what about the '91-'92 Dark Bright Teal? I've been considering black SS stripes on my teal RS, so your color combination would be just the opposite. I don't know, just a thought...
