Need help ASAP!

Hey, I painted my headlight buckets black yesterday, with Duplicolor gloss black ENAMEL. Anyway, they looked good, and I added about 7 coats of clear. Everyone told me to make them shine, to wetsand the clearcoat with 1500 grit sand paper, so I did, and *** are they smooth, but they're faded to ****! What do I do? Please respond ASAP thanks.

No problem, after wet sanding you need to polish. Just go get some polishing compound and buff those things to a mirror shine.

thanks, just bought some 3m rubbing compound. Worked great. Mirror shine. Whew...really scared me for a minute. I thought I'd have to tape 'em and spray them all over again
